After a successful journey with the Irmaco Group (‘the Company’ or ‘the Group’), Finco sold its majority stake to Group MC and CEO Kris De Coninck.
Established in Kontich (BE), the Group is an international leading provider of products and services for the dust explosion and process fire protection industry. Through its 3 subsidiaries, Stuvex, ISMA and IExT, the Company is specialized in (i) the design, production, sale, implementation and maintenance of protection systems against dust explosions and process fire, (ii) consulting and scientific research in the area of explosion protection and fire hazards and (iii) the distribution of explosion proof electrical equipment. The Company is active in a fast-growing niche market driven by strict and changing legislation, high requirements by insurers and increasing corporate awareness for health and safety.
Under the wings of an experienced management team led by Kris De Coninck, the Company has evolved to a one-stop-shop for dust explosion protection. Out of the headquarters in Belgium and local sales hubs in the Netherlands, France, the UK and Italy, the Company has built a diversified and international portfolio of loyal blue-chip customers. Today, the Company counts c. 40 employees and serves 700+ clients.
