Finco acquires a minority stake in IT service provider b-inside

Finco entered into the capital of b-inside (‘the Company’) to support its next growth stage together with its current managers and shareholders.

b-inside was founded by its current CEO Jan De Veene in 1997. Located in Waregem, b-inside supports SMEs in their ongoing digital transformation by offering a broad range of IT outsourcing solutions, including cloud, IT security, mobility, communications, hardware, managed services, maintenance services and AI. b-inside also markets its proprietary ERP software packages InTex and InDis tailored for the textile and distribution industries.

Since its creation, b-inside has realized an impressive growth path, both organically and through several acquisitions of complementary IT solution players. Following the acquisitions of CBM Moerman in Mar’18, Inside Parts in Aug’20 and G&T in Oct’21, the Company deepened its IT solution expertise, increased its client base and expanded its team of consultants. Today, the Company counts 55 employees and serves 800 clients.

Jan and Arthur De Veene, CEO and COO of b-inside: “With Finco, we found the ideal partner to help b-inside accelerating its growth ambitions organically and through add-on acquisitions. Both organisations share the same vision and values.”

“We noticed the increasing importance for SMEs to be able to rely on a safe and efficient IT ecosystem. In this perspective, we were impressed by the quality of the services offered by b-inside” says Kristof Verluyten, Investment Director at Finco Private Equity.

VDP assisted the shareholders of b-inside to execute the transaction. Stibbe acted as legal adviser to the acquirer.
